Passing the Million-Read Mark

I am writing to celebrate PTW/PI just clicking over the 1 million read mark — a gratifying occasion. I am pleased that readers have found the series worth 1 million of their reads. And I say a big thank you to all readers. You are the reason I celebrate this milestone, and because you continue to read, I continue to write.
That writing journey started October 5, 2020 with The Role of Management Systems in Strategy. The latest is the 236th original content piece in the series, Strategy for Organizations Without Competition, published on August 18, 2025.
I started on the platform with zero followers and now have 259K followers, which appears to be sixth most on the platform. It has been a lot of work. The 236 pieces have totaled 425K words, which is the equivalent of writing 6.35 Playing to Win-length (67K words) books in under five years.
On May 3, 2023, I announced that the series had passed the 1 million view mark. Today, views are at 2.6 million. And claps are at 133K — which means that you have awarded my writing one clap for every 7.5 pieces that you read. That is nice!
